Gujral Hotels Pvt Ltd was established in 1993 by Er M S Gujral, to provide a home away from home for its customers. The first Gujral Hotel property was Hotel Rishi Regency, the first 3 star hotel at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In 2006, Gujral hotels Pvt Ltd acquired hotel Rishi Regency Wildlife Resort, at Kanha Wildlife Sanctuary, Madhya Pradesh.

Over the following decade, the Gujral Hotels Pvt Ltd grew the company in partnership with PG Inn Pvt Ltd. In 2002, Er. M S Gujral along with Mrs Anjali Pathak took over PG Holiday Inn Pvt Ltd. The company acquired Silver Sands Beach Resort, a 3 star resort at Goa.

Within last 3 years of operation, Gujral Hotels Pvt Ltd, in partnership with PG Inn Pvt Ltd, has acquired Hotel Rishi Exotica, Palolem Beach Goa, Hotel Atlanta, Calenguete Beach Goa, and Hotel Five Hills, Panchgani.
