Food is something you will never have to worry about…just as all our Aamod restaurants, we place our guests palate foremost. Food is simple and hearty – Indian and Kumaoni fare – all cooked to suit your taste-buds by dedicated full-time cooks in our large family kitchen.
Meals are served as follows:07:00 - 10:30 Breakfast (Eggs to order, bread (with butter and jam), one Indian breakfast item (poha / upma / parathas / idlis, poori-aloo) - decided the previous night)12:30 - 14:30 Lunch (One non-veg dish, one local vegetable dish, dal / kadhi / rajma, rice, chappattis, parathas, yoghurt, one Indian / local dessert)19:30 - 23:00 Dinner (One non-veg dish, one local vegetable dish, dal / kadhi / rajma, rice, chappattis, parathas, yoghurt, one Indian / local dessert) - this meal will be served in casseroles on the main dining table should you wish to eat late, because our staff will depart by 23:00.
Snacks, and unlimited coffee / tea, are available through the day.Soft drinks are not included in the tariff and are available at cost; a limited choice of soft drinks is available at Garampani, so please do carry up with you any special requirements you might have. The same applies for any special dietary needs. Processed meats, whole wheat bread, special flours, juices and fruit, etc. - we'd suggest you bring all these with you when you come – all of which will be stored for you in the fridge and freezer in the kitchen. We also suggest you carry up any wine or alcohol you'd like to enjoy - there is a very limited choice of beer and alcohol at Garampani.
